They’re just human beings. Like us, they smell like shite after a long day. They say the wrong things. frick buckets of yuck, and make mistakes like the rest of us.

Why do people (especially women) lose their shite over someone just because of fame? I guess working with big names has me desensitized, but there’s not one celebrity in the world I’d freak out over.

Not one.

I've hung out with a few major celebrities in the past and they really are just like us. They like to cut up, joke, and curse. They enjoy being able to hang out with those who don't freak out over them and are able to hold conversations with them.

People...or women, because it's mostly a female phenomena. And the reason is they like to have people they look up to and consider better than themselves. IT makes a woman feel like she is in her place in the pecking order. This is crucial for a woman's emotional and psychological well-being.

Because famous people are rich and people love being in the vicinity of the massively rich. Not sure why?... It's not like any of that money rubs off on you.

Only big celeb I like is Ed Sheeran. It’s real talent and I feel like it would be fun to kick back and talk music with him over a whiskey and cigar.

I saw Ed McMahon once. Never occurred to me to walk over to him.

I couldn’t care less about celebrities or famous athletes.

CSB alert: During Mardi Gras 2013, I was on the Budweiser balcony because my friend is the GM at champagne. Those tools from Hardcore Pawn came up with security and tried to force their way on the balcony. No one either knew or cared who they were, so they left pretty pissed off. They hung out in the lounge for a second and rolled out onto Bourbon like common folk.

You are an idiot. You work with big names. Therefore you are accustomed to being around them. Are you stupid enough to not understand people who don’t associate with celebrities will be freaked out. You are either an idiot or a troll.

Musicians I think would be my biggest exception for understanding why people might freak out or get excited to meet them. Music means a whole lot of things to a whole lot of people so to meet the person that produced music that may mean something particular to you can be quite exciting I'm sure.

I am with you OP. I’ve seen several up close and have no emotions either way. I was surprised at how small some are IRL.

These are the same people that still watch all the awards shows. I do not watch any of them.

It’s crazy because actors were considered the bottom of the barrel in society not that long ago.

Yeah. Carey Grant, John Wayne, Mickey Rooney, Paul Newman. They couldn’t even get laid.

I get pretty excited to meet famous horses. I met a derby winner (animal kingdom) years ago and it was incredible

Is that the same?
