A lot of people lead boring lives and live vicariously through celebrities. They worship celebrities so when they see them in-person it’s a life-changing moment for them.

Whenever I run into someone semi famous like a Baton Rouge “celebrity” I treat them like anyone else. I’m sure they appreciate it.

I would hate to be a celebrity.
I couldn't go out in public without some humanoid bugging me for my autograph.

Could you really trust people? They claim to be your friend, but they can't wait to sell you out to the national enquior for $$

I don’t get it either. Most celebrities are weird and fricked up in the head anyway.

Why would anyone look up to any of that? It’s moronic.

My only interesting celebrity meeting was Patrick Warburton at an event for Steve Gleason the week of the 49ers-Ravens Super Bowl in New Orleans. I told him from the start that my little boy's favorite game character is Flynn from Skylanders and he busted out laughing. We ended up shoothing the shite about football for 15 minutes. Not once did I bring up Puddy from Seinfeld which I'm sure he appreciated.

People confuse celebrities with the roles they play. They should sit and watch movie credits. It takes that many people, plus 6 months to 2 years to make "stars" look that good for 2 hours in a movie.

Brush up on your history concerning the acting profession and you will see what I’m talking about.

Drew Brees is a fan favorite and he has worked hard to achieve greatness. But a colleague of mine was moving his car once at the airport in order to help Brees while it was raining and Brees stopped him and told my friend to “get out of my fricking car”. Celebrities are not saintly like everyone believes. They get upset and change on a dime when the cameras are on them.

I have heard stories about Eli Manning and his ways after a few drinks in him. These people are human and act shitty at times. That’s not news.
