When you consider the examples in the article, the authors must surely believe 72 is on the low side. When one of the 72 genders is defined as a gender that is associated with a close attachment to space, the options are limitless.

Honestly I think it's mostly white dudes that don't like being white so they transform themselves into a minority into the most ridiculous way possible.
Its never a black or Mexican guy competing in women's sports...it's always a white dude.

The fact they label bisexuality and acknowledge it proves their are only two genders.
Also, claiming to be non-binary versus binary creates a two gender classification.

It is a mostly false claim so they can upend our societal norms.
The truth is that the vast majority of us fall into one of the two categories of male and female.
Those rare few people with unfortunate birth defects are anomalies and we should not build our societal norms around a few such sad cases.
The vast majority of the people being discussed are either deluded, deceptive or a bit of both.
People who attempt to change how they were born will accomplish nothing more than mutilating themselves and rendering themselves impotent.
But we should take care of our vulnerable women and children by putting the anomalies into the male category as a default position.

This. Nothing makes a white social justice warrior more excited than having their own opportunity to have a “lived experience” within a group they can claim is discriminated against. And the fortunate thing about this particular group is that you can just make it up. It’s not tied to actual genetic traits such as the melanin in one’s skin.

There are 2 sexes in like 99.9% of cases. "Sex" is a biological term.

There are outcasts who are looking for a place and don’t have the inner strength or awareness to seek a rational solution to improve their lot in life.
So they find it easier to rebel with the like-minded to find association where they think they “fit”. Then is snowballs as they get that confirmation they desire.
They see it glorified and a way to be “protected” by a loud, aggressive ally. And they can get away with stuff because they’re in a protected class. Hopefully that is changing and less will find it a worthwhile option. One can only hope.
