Where do you put your empty beer cans? The back seat of your car?

Where do you hang your shrimp boots?

I have a 2012 civic btw. It was a graduation gift and I'm currently a college student. I'm getting a 6th gen Camaro SS as soon as financially possible

Sounds like you haven't driven a truck since the 80's.

Honestly, I have thought about it for awhile and I can't see any positive that comes close to outweighing the glaring negatives?

Sorry, but your prius won't pull my boat or haul enough camping gear and wood for a week in the middle of nowhere.

The thing about trucks is they have a bed, while cars do not. This bed can carry things that you may not want in your car, or may not fit.

The reasons for buying a truck should be pretty obvious. I bought mine when I bought my first house. It was useful for landscaping and hauling stuff for other projects I completed. I also use it to tow my boat.

ok, your car is cheaper and better fuel mileage.
but my truck is definitely more comfortable, handles better and will freaking embarrass you in a race.

expensive, uncomfortable, handles like absolute garbage, and doesn't get good fuel mileage either.

and nowhere near as versatile as a truck.

Why don't you buy a real car?

So half you truck nuts spend $50k+ on a truck and don't see all the other options? I would get a Colorado and sports car and probably still spend less. Maybe get a luxury sedan
