All these people claiming they don’t eat fast food are probably eating crap at home daily that is equally as unhealthy. “But it isn’t fast food so I must be healthy”.

With 2 kids and their schedules we simply don't have time to cook every night. Since Civid, we've had more time with some of their stuff shut down, but before I'd say we ate some fast food (Chick-fil-A or Zaxby's usually as I hate BK and mcdonald's). But outside of that, we are a pretty active family and I'm the only one who could stand to lose a few lbs.

Pretty much only when traveling with the kids. Usually sonic or whataburger if available.

Cooking and eating at home is significantly healthier if you desire it to be so because you are the one who controls how much sugar, salt, fat, and carbs are in the food you eat than a fast food joint, or any restaurant for that matter.

No shite. If you desire it to be, aka put forth the effort to watch your intake of those things, and to buy healthier foods to cook.

And it’s equally as easy to cook and eat some very unhealthy things at home consistently too.

ETA The average person is not very educated as to what is healthy and what isn’t, outside of obvious things.

I definitely eat fast food, but there are a few I haven't eaten in ages. Burger King, KFC, Taco Bell, Arby's, and Krystal. Pretty much the only 4 I go to with any regularity are CFA, Wendy's, Whataburger, and Popeye's. I only go to McDonald's for breakfast, and that is maybe only once or twice a year.

You’re right. There’s no argument here, and lots of people do so, especially one pot cooking or hamburgers and the like all the time. However, you can definitely make a substantial difference in your diet and health by cooking at home, and with little effort once you’ve decided to make it a routine and do some prepping up for that.

I honestly can't

If I'm eating a shitty fast food burger, I'm going to Whattaburger, which is like once every 3 months or so

I grab McDonalds' or canes every few months for a quick lunch and immediately regret it. It makes me extremely lethargic and feel gross, it's so bad for you. I'm more productive if I just don't eat until dinner

I doubt it. People who make a conscious effort to eat healthy and avoid fast food are typically rather intelligent and understand nutrition.

Y’all act like it’s a huge chore to avoid fast food. It’s garbage food for lazy people.

When I play a gig I will pick up a couple Filet-o-fish sammiches to have some energy. Other than that, I eat no fast food.

Sonics food is incredibly bad. Way worse than McDonald’s or Burger King
