Why do Mexicans enjoy eating Gas Station Hot Dogs for breakfast?

I don’t mean this to be a racist comment at all.. just an observation
Every morning (7am) before work, I stop by the gas station for a cup of ice coffee (Tom Thumb) has my favorite ice coffee and I always notice there are Mexicans making gigantic foot long hot dogs. They just pile all kinds of stuff onto their hot dogs with melted cheese, chili, jalapeños, etc etc etc
It’s not the same group of Mexicans either.
I never see any other type of people making hot dogs at 7 o’clock in the morning except for Mexicans.
Is this something that is common for them while growing up living in Mexico? Are hot dogs like our sausage for them?

I don’t see just one type of group of people making ice coffee at the gas station but I only see one type of people making hot dogs at that time in the morning

This thread is absolutely 100% true.
I'm often the only white dude getting "chicken dicks" next to them when they are getting breakfast.
They don't just get hot dogs. They get all the roller items.
I'll tell y'all why they do it though. It's b/c they are cheap, filling, and easy to eat in the car. And they are already there stocking up on ice,waters, and gatorades for the job that day.
Chicken Dicks for those who were wondering.

Perhaps the group you're seeing works back breaking hours for not much pay so they have to be frugal with their money.

I love gas station hotdogs... but 7am is too early. They need to sit on that warmer for a few hours to reach peak flavor.
If the dogs have been spinning on the warmer since the previous day then that's a go.
