Why do Fairs, Festivals, etc. bring out the trash?

I've always been curious about this. Seems like these events bring out the trashiest of the trash the areas have to offer.

Well first off its rude to call people trash.
Honestly, it's just people wanting to have fun. Those of lower economic status want to be social and forget their issues sometimes.

Not sure why. I can tell you I don't attend fairs and festivals for that reason tho. I can't be around that much trash without getting really depressed about society as a whole.

I refuse to go to a fair. It's ridiculous the people that you have to deal with, not to mention the fair "personel".

Let me clear up a common misconception here on the OT. Being poor has nothing to do with being trashy. Some of the most trashy people I've met have more money than they know what to do with.

Unfortunately, a lot of people associate trashy with an economic status and not how one presents themselves.
