She refused to take care of her health issues.
Cost two extended hospital stays and a shite ton of money.
I realized that she was committing passive suicide and there wasn't a damn thing I could do to save her, and I had to save myself.
Worst day of my life was telling her I was leaving because I loved her dearly.
She died a few years later. Didn't even make it to age 50.

My drinking and cheating, which I did quite a bit of.
She gave me several chances, I couldn't pull it off. Even after the divorce she wanted to see me again, and I screwed that up.
She's a fantastic lady, we stay in touch.

Exactly - I’ve witnessed too many messy divorces and am thankful my husband still puts up with me
But I think divorce is necessary in some cases

Haven’t, but at a bit of a crossroads. Kids are starting to leave the house and I don’t want to spend the rest of my life with a bitchy bitch. If she can figure out how to be nice, there is a chance.
