Why did disposable razors become popular?

Wars or something? Gilette mailing everyone that handle? You pay more for a worse shave.

I can sorta understand why those cans of chemical goo cream became popular due to convenience. But the razors?

If I had to pick one - I would use the old cream/soap and the new razor.

50 Feather brand platinum coated blades for $13 on Amazon. Will last me bout 18 months.

Taylor of Old Bond street shaving cream for $16 on Amazon. Will last me 7-8 months.

Let's see DSC or anyone else beat that

I use twin blades disposables. Can get a 12 pack for $5 and that'll last me a full month.

I can't use disposable razors. The only person I can think of, who uses disposable razors, off the top of my head, is a friend of mine's dad, who is old. It seems like electric razors are more popular than disposable ones.

Some of us have corner offices so we aren't afforded that luxury.

Also your wife didn't like it so I shaved mine
