Why are UFO’s not captured on video more than ever before?

We’ve always heard these stories of UFO’s in years past and lots of people saying they saw something, but obviously didn’t have proof because it’s not like people used to carry a video camera with them in the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, etc.
But these days, nearly everybody has a high-resolution HD camera in their pocket. With the rise of smart phones, wouldn’t it be reasonable to expect a rise in UFO phenomenon captured on 1080p video?
Yet it doesn’t seem to be the case. If anything, it seems like there are less sightings than ever before...

I think this is the correct answer. Even if the "real" UFO's were never anything more than military tests of experimental aircraft and not aliens, probably the majority of sightings were not "real" and easily explainable with a better look at the subject, akin to bears being mistaken for Bigfoot.
The human mind fills in the blanks in the information it has as best as it can. Using a distracted human's eye test at night maybe the flight path seems to violate the laws of physics, but now that they have a camera with a clear view that they can zoom in and rewatch there's less of an information void to fill with tin foil hat worthy ideas.

UFOs have video recording device sensors just to keep from being recorded. Our Supreme Commander told us to keep that feature activated on our equipment when looking for earth creatures for cavity probing............I mean, I read that on an anonymous UFO tracking site, something or other, etc....

As our (earth) has advanced in technology, other civilizations (alien) have as well.
So, they have probably moved towards a different alloy of metal that is more transparent than before making it harder to get a solid image even with a cell phone.
Like police vs private citizens with radar detectors and fuzz busters. They one up us, then we one up them.
Aliens and UFO’s are real. You can still be in denial if you want but it won’t change the facts.

Those cameras are 3 inches from their owners faces at all times never looking anywhere except down at the tiny screen. Hard to see something overhead when staring towards ones feet 24/7/365.

I piss ON the game cam. Best part is that they won't know it's covered with piss until they touch it all over to open it up, pull the SD card, get home, and watch the footage.
