Why are the words frick, shite, and arse censored on this site?

I don't get it. Is there a reason for this? Shouldn't be a big deal.

Only time those words are censored for me are in search results.

I don’t understand why count is treated like the Nword.
Did something happen I missed out on?

If I recall correctly, it was once uncensored. I have no idea why the policy changed.
I also find it odd that you can say fig but not fag_got.

There is a profanity option in user settings for this site.
I will type bad words and they will show up as bad words to users who are logged in and have the profanity setting set to show bad words.

They appear as arse frick and shite when not logged in or when logged in with bad word filter on. Also when viewing search results I think.
I have it set to show bad words. I can tell when someone doesn't know about the setting because they actually type shite arse or frick instead of shite arse or frick.

I have the censor off..
But I THINK if someone has the censor on and they type those words they show up as the censored version.

And admins don’t seem to care if you go around the words c-unt and fag_got like this, but better not do it with the n word
