Why are the Brits the laughing stock of the world?

Britain had the best navy in the world for centuries until World War 2. They successfully defended Falkland Islands and were known to be a powerful nation. Their economy was strong. They owned almost the entire world at one point.
Now they have turned into a bunch of old wankers who let their ship be captured by Iran and now this whole thing with Hong Kong. They can’t even get Brexit right. It’s harder for Americans to move to Britain than those from the Middle East/ North Africa places. Britain is overrun with shitty migrants from those places. They now arrest people for having cooking knives in their cars. They also arrest people for saying something bad about the refugees and shitty migrants.
What gives?

Whole thing with Hong Kong?
Britian and other European powers started giving up their possessions after Ww2. Are we weak for giving up the Philippines?
It was a return of territory.

Don’t forget that they banned memes in Britain as well.
They’re a bunch of fricking losers and we should distance ourselves from them.
frick the British. They should take “Great” out of their name as they stopped being great the moment they ousted Churchill in 45.
Globalist, liberty hating losers on that isle.

Once they chose to drive on the left side of the road, the die was cast.

Britain never should have pulled out from all off their territories. Screwed over a huge chunk of the World. Jamaica is just sad. Hong Kong is going to be an epic catastrophe. Africa needs hand holding.

The UK didn't "give up" Honk Kong. Its lease expired. But generally, the OP is correct. It is sad to see what has become of a once great power that had a huge influence on Western Civilization and the kind of lives we are fortunate to be able to live today.

Britain didn't own HK, they had a lease on it for 99 years. China isn't honoring the terms of the lease once it was released back to them.

Just ignore that whole decolonization thing that happened after WWII, eh?

The London police are told to consider The Union Jack to be hate speech. That’s where the UK is rn.

Build a colonial empire in the Middle East and Africa and then act indignified when you’re overrun with immigrants from those places, brehs.

Empires rise and fall its natural.
China, Rome, Aksum, France, and British etc.
America too, but hopefully it will last as long as Rome or at least the British

I wonder how long it will be before Argentina makes another move on the Falkland Islands.
