The generation that raised millennials did a shitty job so millennials are kind of shitty. Luckily there’s still time for millennials to figure shite out. It’s too late for their parents.

Wait till the little frickers find out that they will be unable to get the latest IPhone under the Communist's "new phone every 10 year plan". They will shite themselves and take their lazy asses out of the Communism line as quick as you can say "safe space"

I agree with this guy. I hav kids in high school in what I thought was a conservative religious school in BR. Its so bad that if they werent getting ready to graduate I would pull them out. The liberal indoctrination from those that run the school, on down, is shocking and gross.

If they actually lived in a communist or socialist country they would magically become capitalist. A few weeks in North Korea will cure them. I met an American who had been living in Norway for 3 years and he was telling me it was so expensive he had to reduce his meals to twice/day and have family ship him clothes because he couldn’t afford the price in Norway.

But do they even know what it is? The survey, which was conducted by research and data firm YouGov, found that millennials are the least knowledgable generation on the subject, with 71% failing to identify the proper definition of communism.
Sounds about right.

I guess one in two millenials lives in big cities, because I've never met a person my age that wants to live in a communist country.
Then again, could also be because I want nothing to do with dumbasses, and that fits the definition of a dumbass perfectly.

Yep. When these surveys are conducted, liberal qualities that are listed are always beneficial for the age groups.
It's easy to say yea I'm liberal when the list of "liberal qualities" includes legalization, free college, etc.
If the survey taker said " for example, in a communist society you would pay a 60% tax rate if above x income and no tax rate if below y income." No one would be checking that blue box.

They're a pussy generation.

It isn't really the fault of this generation so much as an intellectual and moral failure of the academic social sciences (and the many people influenced by them) over the last 40 years. It is necessary and good to point out the weaknesses of capitalism and our own democracy, but completely unacceptable to gloss over the 20th century's lessons about the dramatically worse option of communism.
The fact that many students simply are not exposed to a lot of the relevant information they need to have more informed opinions is much less their fault than the fault of older generations. Special blame has to be assigned especially to academics within institutions of universities and media organizations. At this point they can only be viewed as abdicating their responsibilities to be intellectually curious, honest, and as balanced as possible in favor of politically simplistic myopia.

They are growing up at a time when playing video games is more important than earning a living.

Agreed. But I doubt most millennial posters here voted for Bernie. Anyone with half a brain could see right through the shite he was pushing.

This is probably close to the truth.
If you want to know where the bat shite crazy element of academia live, it's in the Social Sciences.

The DOW was at, what, 1500 in 1987.
Yesterday, 11/2/17, it closed at 23, 516.
Yep, real shitty 30 years there.....

I haven't read the responses in this thread so it might have already been said but the reason is because a lot of millenials don't have the work ethic or skills to compete in the "rat race" so they would rather stuff be handed to them

Hell yeah brother
Millinneials are a bunch of avacado toast eating queers who don't know what it's like to
go to war to protect our freedoms then come home and provide for their families. They're too busy with "learnin" at college

I went to a Christian private middle school that wouldn’t let me do my summer reading paper on Harry Potter, a book that got the C student dyslexic kid reading for fun, because it was the devil.
Indoctrination is a two way street my man
