U.S. millennials say they would rather live in a socialist or communist country than a capitalist democracy.

I'm sure that they would really enjoy living in places like North Korea, Iran and Russia. fricking idiots.

This survey is such bullshite. How did they determine who participated? How did they phrase the questions? They surveyed 2300 people total, which means probably about 1,000 millennials. They also phrased the Stalin/Kim Jong question as “are they heroes to their countries?” Which is easily interpreted as asking if you think people in those countries think they are heroes. What a shock that a survey conducted by Americans Against Communism found came up with results that will rile up a bunch of guillible and easily enraged 40-60 year olds and achieve the direct goals of their organization

Commies don't like Jesus.

When people who have more choose to help people who have less, it is called compassion, and it is a wonderful experience for both parties.

When the government requires people who have more to help people who have less, it is called communism, and it is a terrible experience for both parties.

Jesus advocated compassion, among other things, though he made reconciliation available to all, even the tax collectors. Be more like Jesus and less like Caesar.

This is the most regurgitated, asinine statement on this board regarding millenials. It's also the most ironic, given we are on a forum that only exists because of a mutual interest in COLLEGIATE athletics at Louisiana State UNIVERSITY.

As for the avocado toast and avoiding war...well, yeah, there's definitely a lot of those.

Why did I have to be born into such a pansy-arse generation?

I’d be willing to be that more than half of the dumbasses that comment on this thread, shitting on millennials, don’t actually realize they are millennials.

Im a millennial by definition, but don't have the standard characteristics of a millennial. So I like to regularly make snide comments about them and distance myself from them.

have 300+ hours of college classes between 2 main campuses and a 3rd just to take extra classes. Not once did I ever think that I was being taught a left or liberal way of thinking. This spanned 2000-2015 so it's pretty recent.
granted I did major in political science, but LSU had 1 conservative professor in that department. just 1

Why do so many fat middle age guys think it's cool to drive loud obnoxious "look at me look at me" Harley's like ****?

Baby Boomers really earn that "Baby". Constantly begging for attention like a teenage girl with daddy issues. ALWAYS whining, complaining, and crying about things acting like none of your problems are your fault because you can't accept responsibility for any of your actions. Because of that you all have taken to pointing fingers at and blaming Millennials for things in what is essentially the adult version of "tattling". Nevermind the fact that you all raised us and most of us are only barely beginning our careers and have no influence.

Yup, "Baby" Boomers is super appropriate. Never has any other generation before or since been babied by the world and society like yout generation. Financially, if life was a Madden video game then the difficulty settings for money was set to "Rookie", and then you all bumped it up to "All-Madden" for your children's generation and expect us to do the same. No major wars for you all to die in. No great social tensions like are going on all over the world today.
No wonder you pussies can't handle the slightest hint of adversity and cry when everything isn't smooth for you

They are too young to know about bread lines in the Former Soviet Union and have been convinced by reading select materials that Democratic Socialism will somehow be different.

They fail to realize that under communism or socialism their lifestyle would be tremendously diminished.

Everyone is a communist until they earn their first paycheck after a week of hard work and see all of the taxes taken out of it and then go home and turn on the TV and see all the people they used to know without jobs screaming that they need more money and it should come out of that paycheck.

Yep. I retired from the military and then entered the civilian job market with not one day of civilian work experience. 2 years later, I am certified in 2 states to do residential, commercial and agricultural appraisals.

Millenials could have done the same exact thing I did 2 years ago but quite a few lack the motivation and work ethic.
