I have 300+ hours of college classes between 2 main campuses and a 3rd just to take extra classes. Not once did I ever think that I was being taught a left or liberal way of thinking. This spanned 2000-2015 so it's pretty recent.

I had plenty of super liberal professors at LA Tech that preached their nonsense.

Because it's way easier to push "the liberals are taking over college" agenda if you just claim all millenials are commies

Or maybe they survey certain millenials so that their survey works? I can assure you one in two millenials don’t think that.

Because or mass media, schools, and universities have been indoctrinating them their whole lives.

How many non-millennials in this thread are willing to admit the need for basic income within the next 30 years?

Only possible defenses I can think of are seeing financial crisis in '08 with no consequences for those involved and the pitfalls of student loans vs inflation.

However take one look at Venezuela and ya......socialism sucks

I’d be willing to be that more than half of the dumbasses that comment on this thread, shitting on millennials, don’t actually realize they are millennials.

77-95

quote:

For Millennials (aka Gen Y) in particular, we use the birth years 1977 to 1995 for North America. This birth range is slightly different than some other sources that believe the ending cutoff for Millennials is 2000. We strongly believe that the 2000 birth year is incorrect. The reason: the most important, generation-defining moment for Millennials (particularly in the U.S.), was September 11, 2001. It’s extremely difficult, if not impossible, to be born between 1996 and 2000 and have a strong, emotional connection to 9/11. Your brain is simply too young to put the event in a cultural, geographic, or other context. From our research-based vantage point, if you were born in the U.S. and 9/11 has always been history to you—something you literally cannot remember—then you are not a Millennial but a member of Generation Z. You can watch our co-founder’s, Jason Dorsey’s, viral TEDx talk explaining Gen Z here. In terms of the starting years for Millennials, a similar approach applies but without a clear, defining moment to identify the beginning of the generation. In this case, we look for patterns or consistency in behaviors and viewpoints in our national and international research studies. For this reason, we use 1977 as the beginning birth year for Millennials. We know that other groups use 1980, but from our vantage point, the consistency in shifting from Gen X to Millennial starts around 1977, not 1980.

It’s literally frustrating that my generation is like this. I fricking hate it! Get an education, do you’re fricking job, provide for your family, and live your fricking life! Why is that so hard? Yeah loans suck (can’t fricking stand them and probably will never pay them off) but that isn’t gonna stop me from doing what I need to do and expecting the next hand out. Sure I’ll greatfully accept it (who wouldn’t?) but frick, America is not what it used to be and it’s very unfortunate.

Because we grew up watching Bush give a massive bail out to banks and other industries because they fricked up, yet we are expected to pick up the bill.
