I worked with some women that were in that situation.The stories they would tell of all the drama and chaos in their blended families convinced me to never get involved with divorcees with children.I was single,never married and no kids so I was somewhat of a target for divorcees.

I'm 36. I tell my wife of she ever leaves me or dies, I'm not doing this marriage bullshite again. The 30-40 age range is perfect for each getting what we want and going our separate ways until the next time.

Truth. Men would be better served improving themselves, rather than petulantly whining about their supposed plight. If a man is fit, well-groomed, intelligent, articulate, and successful, he will attract women.
Also, in response to the OP, I never coveted women who were "pure." That's a bore. I'd rather have a woman who is intrinsically sexual, but has the self-control, maturity, and discipline necessary to funnel that sensuality to her partner. That's a quality you actually find more often in women in their 30s and 40s.
