Kind of like moment of Silence that works places were doing for Juneteenth. That was fine until they said it would be for 8 minutes and 46 seconds. Now that’s getting political on a separate issue that is still tied up in the courts.

I'm sorry people protesting offends you, do you need a safe space?

If paying taxes is your criterion to vote, then about half of us should not be voting.

We let women vote so why not?

Don't care. If I watch the NFL, it will be Red Zone Channel only. RZC covers NONE of that.
Only thing they promote for the NFL is Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. That's it.

Maybe this will stop the unnecessary worship of athletes. I love football but I always thought it was kind of gay that these middle class overweight boomers practically worship these overpaid athletes.

More annoyed.
You cant look anywhere anymore without everything being tainted by whatever stupid shite is going on.
Music, sports, etc. It all designed to keep select people down..even though those same people are over represented as is.

There's around 3,000 blacks killed by other blacks a year approximately.
19 million black babies have been aborted since 1973.
There's approximately 20-30 unarmed blacks killed by police every year. Toy guns, BB guns, airsoft guns, and rocks are considered unarmed.
So, yea, I'd like to know if all this is legit or not myself.

Not out of refusal, but just because they were taught better than to disrespect the flag
And maybe the others were raised to not idol worship a piece of cloth like it were Jesus himself and instead worry about the tangible things it actually represents.

I’m a huge Saints fan but I would love to see the NFL fold at this point. It’s time for some of them boys to be taught the lesson about not biting the hand that feeds you.

Good work on completely ignoring how the War on Drugs impacts the community as well as the average black male getting a longer prison sentence for the same crime.

I noticed a Watford player did not kneel before the Leichester match today (of course, both teams had "Black Lives Matter" on the backs of their jerseys where their names would have been).

You southern football fans are a strange breed. You get mad about the Confederate Flag, get mad about the American flag. I guess it's just really a flag-worshipping culture down there.

Kap initially started to take a knee after the murder of a black man by the police. That was his initial reasoning. Players taking a knee doesn't bother me, it's their choice.
I agree with your quote though, the WOD has been a disaster and will continue to be. I agree with your quote about blacks getting longer prison sentences for the same crimes also.
I'll concede and say I lumped in my thoughts about it with rioting and violence with simply NFL players taking a knee. My quote earlier should have been meant more in a rioting thread and not this one, so yea, I'm wrong on that front. Nothing wrong with someone peacefully protesting while taking a knee.

Symbols matter. I can understand how burning Korans would be offensive to Muslims, and Leftists would be horrified at such an act.
