I am pretty sure you didn't even have to register when the board was first open. I do remember not being able to authenticate an email address to get accepted to post when I was at LSU. I had a damn lsu.edu email address too. This is probably my 3rd or 4th account, never banned, just forgot old names or lost access to those email accounts over the years.
