People that worry about others have issues they cannot control.
Worry about keeping your own yard clean and dont about anyone elses. Who gives a frick what anyone else does or who "lets themself go".

In my anecdotal experience. It seems like I see more obese men than obese women, overall. Even in the gym, it always seems like I see more women than men there, working out.
I think in general women face alot more societal pressure regarding their looks, so they will be a bit less likely to let themselves go, as opposed to men.
I don't have any stats to back that up also, so I'm welcome to being wrong.

Men let themselves go emotionally (they stop connecting with their wife)

Hard to tell, because oddly enough men typically age better looks wise. Plus if both husband and wife get fat and one of them starts losing weight a divorce is imminent
