Well since this has morphed beyond the AP - I'll just point out when The Stanford Group blew up one billion - ONE BILLION dollars of the roughly 7 billion dollars lost came from the BR Lafayette area and this town never even blinked. Baton Rouge has very large sum of money that no one knows about.

As a company/family they do, yes. Not as an individual. He's just one guy, not a wood production company.

I would think it was the Robert family. More specifically Harry. I know they owned the property Lowes is on for one. They own a bunch of other property, several very nice businesses and are locally notorious for wealth.

I would put the Diez's in there they own Pelican Point, many other developments for homes in the parish, the office warehouse and retail where Icehouse and little village is on airline, plus the retail in front of Pelican Point, plus tons of land. I 've always heard the Diez's and Robert's own AP but maybe things have changed

Yup. Vince is a family friend. Haven't talked to him in years, but the guy makes international deals for millions. All that while moonlighting as a operator for years, lol.
I have never heard a rumor of Disney in AP. That is an LP rumor and maybe Laplace area.
What's Kevin Kelly worth? I know he has old school New Orleans money, but never knew at what level.
