The new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 jumped right past tree fiddy cubic inches to arrive at 392, they kept on going until they hit a balanced 470 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque or as Jeremy Clarkson might say "all the torques". These numbers are only topped by the stratospheric price of $74,995 to start for the launch editions. The torque isn't for towing it is for fording suburban mud puddles. They can get as deep as 4-5 inches.

$1,000 in 1996 was worth a lot more than $1,000 now though.

So V8 is an option again for Jeep Wranglers?

Does it come with the obligatory Chrysler unreliability as well?
