I remember when it first came out.
Still better than pulling cards and filling out scantrons.

LA Tech skipped the phone evolution and went straight from standing in line to online registration. Luckily I only had to stand in line twice, but it sucked

The key was to join a club sport long enough to schedule with the athletes

I remember Reggie and registration in the Field House going from line to line to get your fee bill stamped.

I remember waiting in line at the bank of Phones in the Union that were straight to Reggie. It was much quicker than trying to dial in all night from home.

Same. my freshman year. Think tuition was $800 for 15 hours.

I used to go to my dad's office and take over all the lines with redialing to get through. The worst part was if you took too long or could not find a section you wanted and Reggie timed out on you.

reggie touched me inappropriately.

I had good results just going around to the teachers you wanted the day before classes started. They would usually let you in their section.

Reggie was awful, but my freshman year still had the whole Field House cards thing. For a freshmen that was a damn wake up call. Luckily we could just stay in our dorm to be traumatized the following semester.

We had the same system at Auburn. Priority was something like athletes, graduates, seniors, juniors, sophomores, anyone else, freshmen.
I had some shiatty arse schedules. 8am, 12pm, 4pm, type stuff. I remember having labs at like 10pm or something. It was sad. I'd hear about the jerks that got back to back classes and spent the rest of the day goofing off, but I was just back and forth all day. I guess I could have gone to the library or student union to kill time, but I didn't know where those places were.

Paws sucked but I would use my older step sisters LSU account to register all my classes, I would put two computers together and Drop the class from her schedule and immediately add it to mine. You had to do it in the middle of the night or someone could steal the class you were stashing.
