I know a few guys that have lost it all bc of this. Like you said - I have my vices but really glad gambling isn’t one of them.

Don't blame the Sports Betting books, blame the individual and banks that lent him the money through credit card transactions on the sports wagering sites

Oh there's more than enough blame to go around. Letting the sports books off the hook is like giving drug dealers a pass and blaming needle manufacturers.

While we're assigning blame, let's not forget SVP, Stanford Steve and the whole gang in Bristol, along with every league and organization that partners with gambling, including LSU (Caesars is the official sportsbook of the LSU Tigers, dontcha know).

They are all complicit. Every last one of them.

A class action lawsuit was filed today in Louisiana against sports betting companies, including FanDuel and DraftKings, alleging their apps are intentionally designed and marketed to induce and exploit addictive behavior. The suit also names the two casino licensees, Amelia Belle Casino and Bally’s Baton Rouge, whose state licenses anchor the apps’ operation in Louisiana.

quote:

The plaintiffs, Adrian Payton, Toi Smith and Yolanda Perkins, are residents of New Orleans who have each wagered over $20,000 on one or both of the apps. They are suing on behalf of all Louisiana residents who have “created an account, deposited funds, and utilized the mobile sports wagering applications designed, manufactured, and operated by the Sportsbook Defendants under the regulatory authority of the Casino Anchor Defendants.”

These guys lost their bets now they crying like little bitches. Man up. Bet with your head, not over it. Suck it losers.

One 7-leg parlay away from being back in the black.

I'll be honest, I've experienced some great feelings in life, but hitting a many-leg parlay for a big chunk of money is an amazing feeling.

When I was a younger man, I gambled on sports when it was illegal. Now it's legal and I never do it anymore

McDonald’s gave me a fatty liver. Well I’m actually I gave myself a fatty liver. But I’d rather be down 88,000 to FanDuel instead of fatty liver to McDonald’s.

Casinos and gambling sites will let you sell your children to keep you gambling if you are losing. If you are winning you will be banned or severely limited on your betting. Online sports betting is the fastest growing addiction in America.

Gambling is such a strange vice. I don't get the appeal. It's doubly strange to see women captured by it. My wife has an aunt who's a gambling fiend.
