I don't think I could do it. Not even a buddy dive.

Never.
Do it if you dare
Leaping from the sky
Hurling through the air
Exhilarating high
See the Earth below
Soon to make a crater
Blue sky, black death
I'm off to meet my maker
Energy of the gods, adrenalin surge
Won't stop 'til I hit the ground, I'm on my way for sure
Up here in the air, this will never hurt
I'm on my way to impact, taste the high speed dirt
Paralyzed with fear
Feel velocity gain
Entering a near
Catatonic state
Pressure of the sound
Roaring through my head
Crash into the ground
Damned if I'll be dead
Energy of the gods, adrenalin surge
Won't stop 'til I hit the ground, I'm on my way for sure
Up here in the air, this will never hurt
I'm on my way to impact, taste the high speed dirt
Jump or die!
Dropping all my weight
Going down full throttle
The pale horse awaits
Like a genie in a bottle
Fire in my veins
Faster as I go
I forgot my name
I'm a dirt torpedo
High speed dirt
High speed dirt
High speed dirt

I watched a person go to the reserve chute in Gonzales one day. Close enough for me.

Me. Then climbed the Rocky's, then went 2.7 seconds on a bull named Fu Manchu. ..

One time thing. Did it on a bachelor party. Everyone should do it, it was a blast.

Monterey Bay. You can skydive from 18k ft, which I believe is the highest tandem skydive in the USA.

I did it when I turned 50.
It was a pretty awesome experience. Stepping out of the plane was the most terrifying thing ever, but immediately after that it was freaking awesome!
I don’t think I’m going to go again myself, but if someone says they’re going and asks if I wanted to go too, I’d probably say yes.
I went to a place outside of Hammond, LA.

Regardless of how minute the chances might be at this point in parachute technology. The thought of the thrill of jumping out of a plane does not outweigh the thought of the terror of freefalling with a malfunctioning chute

"Did you jump grandpa?"
"Yeah, a little bit..."

Thank you for this. It’s on the list now.

I have, scariest part was taking the step out the plane, the fall/parachute was fun. Stepping out that plane was some scary shite.

I’ve done it twice. First time was over land and was more of a one and done item.
Went with a friend later on over water. Actually preferred over land. Gave more perception and fear factor.

My wife and I went once in Interlaken, prior to kids. It was awesome and a massive rush. Don’t have much desire to do it again though.

Not me but my brother in law has over 500 jumps.
He went to La Tech and parachuted into the stadium during the homecoming pre game activities one year.

Cause if you go that route, there would be no d. It would be skydove, since Dove is the past tense of dive

There is no reason to jump out of a perfectly working aircraft.

Close friend of mine decided she was going to get into skydiving.
In her first 30 jumps, she had two legit main chute failures that required her to cut away and go to back up. Two failures in 30 jumps is a statistical anomaly of epic proportions. Her instructor pulled her aside and said "this might not be for you." She never jumped again.
Not too long after, she was killed when she was run over by a fire truck responding to an auto accident in which she was involved.

Yea, it was my favorite. You land pretty close to the ocean.
