Yeah a few times. Three times for disorderly conduct (fighting) and once for failure to appear (forgot my court date for reckless driving ticket)

Was an idiot and got a DUI when I was 21. Got booked but got a recognizance bond before I ever hit the cell.
Not exactly my proudest moment.

No, but I spent the night at a Holiday Inn Express, so almost the same.

I got held in the drunk cell by SLU PD during college. Charges were dismissed because I walked home instead of driving - brought my towing bill to cout as proof I didn't drive home.

Abused as a child, was very angry, became a father and decided enough of that and turned the corner into becoming a better man.

Looks weird spelled that way.
Judgment is used in the legal field.

Detained and arrested coming back from Canada. Warrant for "intimidating a witness". Crossed over around 8pm and hometown's warrants office didn't open until 8am. I was 18 and they said they believed me it was a mistake but had to go through booking until confirmed. I was in Buffalo NY county jail by time it was sorted the next morning. Had to walk and eventually catch a ride with a stranger to their house to make a call to the guys I was with. Stayed with these people until my friends got to me that night. Crazy day.

I have. Once in college, once as an adult.
Tuscaloosa jail was fine - mostly small time drug offenders, minus the few murderers being transferred. Everyone played blackjack for cigs and no one could count to 21. Pretty lax.
Atlanta Fulton county sucked. Was there 24 hours and I’m telling you; every 18 year old should have to do a weekend there. Crime would go down across the board, expeditiously.

Once and held for one day. Never charged. Was a victim of circumstance.

Broke into the old abandoned police station in Denham Spings about 25 years go. Cops watched and followed us when we left and randomly pulled us over after driving about 5 miles. I was about 16 at the time.
They held me in a cell until my father came to get me, which was confidently later the following day.

Not having access to food whenever you want changes people mentally really fast. After a few weeks your ready to fight someone over some crap food you normally wouldn't even feed your dog.
In county you'll see groups of dudes just walking in circles in the day area out of sheer boredom.
I'm thankful I've never done hard time. My longest sentence was 30 days in county. I wish I could say I did something cool to deserve it but it was extraordinarily stupid.

Ohh I got a good jail story. Lot of normal people in there but also some legit crazy people.
One 20 something year old dude started an argument over the intercom with a female guard and a few of the guys say...your never gonna believe what he's gonna do...and God damnit if he didn't whip out his dick and start jerking it. As soon as he finished he calmed down and started apologizing to the guard. He did that shite every time a female guard was at the other end of the intercom

College police dept holding cell for a few hours, and wasn’t charged or booked. In retrospect, had I gotten the brief experience of parish jail I’m sure it would’ve shocked me out of some of the dumber things I should’ve been caught for during the year or two after that.

Ohh damnit. I was so drunk I don't remember half of it but my car was in the ouachita river and I wrote a very eloquent letter of apology to a local officer. Me being so ashamed of what I had done and not being in trouble for two decades was probably what saved me a long sentence.
I joined a recovery program at a local church and they where at my sentencing. 13 years worth of charges where Nolle prosequi. I haven't drank since.
