Where do you get your groceries?
It depends on a ton of things, so I’ll just say the general answer is Robért on Highland or Rouses on Burbank.

We have prime but I don't buy a lot of things from there. Sometimes it's just easier to find what you are looking for.
I needed a pair of replacement laces for some Clarks boots recently. I could have driven to 10 stores and not found the right laces. It's definitely convenient for stuff like that.

I have it but I use it a lot less than I used to

I'm always shocked how many people don't use S&S
Being a household of two (actually, a household of 1 for 50% of the year) makes it really hard to gauge how often we’d need anything.
Paper products are bought during the Home Depot trip every other month or so. Occasionally Costco, but it’s so far I rarely go there to even justify the membership.

I forgot one of the best Prime stories was my wife and I were out of town shopping and she found something she wanted. While we in the store looking at it I looked it up on Amazon, it was a couple dollars cheaper and with free shipping on Prime. We ordered it, didn’t have to carry it around the rest of the trips and it was home when we got back.

We have it and love it. We get stuff delivered from Amazon at least once a week. Watch a lot of free stuff on Prime video.
Usually am able to find stuff much cheaper on Amazon and have it delivered in less than 2 days.
I like being able to look at all the reviews of different products as well.

Somebody mention fake reviews?
Posted on 5/28/19 at 8:26 am to CaptainsWafer
I realize you have to take some of the reviews with a grain of salt. But like that people will post actual photos of the product they received. That can be helpful.

It's really not that hard to tell when the reviews are fake and when they are real
if you see a product with 4 or 5 stars, then click on the actual reviews and its all 1 star, its kinda obvious

Why? Should blockbuster still be in business? I don't feel a need to support any company that can't adapt to changes. Competition is better for consumers.

Notice how almost no one mentioned anything about the tv side of having Prime as to why they have it or don't have it.
Posted on 5/28/19 at 8:41 am to Tiger1242
I have it, but rarely use it for purchases. No real reason other than I don't think about it often. When I need something I go get it. When I can wait for something to show up I check out Amazon, but I rarely find that it saves me much money.

I ditched it. The combination of 2-day turning into 4-day shipping and now that they charge sales tax really took away the upside.
Books are cheaper on B&N and for stuff like electronics, I just go to an online site that doesn't charge tax like B&H and usually find the price cheaper too.
Also for everyday stuff Walmart.com is looking better than Amazon. They both charge tax but Walmart is faster.
I used to love Amazon but really haven't used them much in the past two years so prime isn't worth it.

between Netflix, Hulu, and Prime...Prime is definitely the least used streaming service for us
they do have some interesting shows in the works though, so we shall see
we also use Prime Photos to store all of our videos and photos, so
