Don't necessarily believe in ghosts but I definitely believe there are spirits not of this world here among us
On of my friends thinks there is a something in my parents house after he got freaked out while feeding our dog while we were out of town. Told him it was probably my grandma who died in the house about 8 years ago

I have lived in my house for 15 years. On 4 separate occasions I have seen a dude walking through my back yard when I am outside. Like he's just walking somewhere. Tall, dark hair, blue polo shirt, navy shorts, and a pair of topsiders. Walks right past me like I'm not there.

I had a demon living in my house about 10 years ago. It would make loud noises like it was extremely mad, it would throw things at me. I was losing my mind. I didn’t know what to do. I finally got help and got a divorce.

I lived in a haunted house for 5 days.
Never actually spent a night there because of the shenanigans. I would go to bed, the whole house would shake violently and stop as soon as I turned a light on, and I would go get a hotel room.
And there were these lizards all over the yard and sidewalk which looked as if they had been cut in half with scissors.
I can’t say for sure it was ghosts, but there was an energy in that house which could manifest itself into sound and violent vibrations.
When I went to the real-estate office to see about canceling the lease, they said “sure” and refunded all my money. My bet is that I wasn’t the first to tell them about their haint.

They are figments of an active imagination.

My dad died suddenly one Sunday morning while getting ready to head to my grandma's house for Sunday dinner. He was a young man of 35 and suffered a fatal heart attack in front of me and my sisters in the old shotgun house we were raised in.
Fast forward 18 years and I'm now married and buying the house I was raised in. My wife at the time had our son who was only a couple weeks or so old when her mother decided to take some time and come down to help out.
I worked night shift and got home around 7:30 a.m. and when I got home I walked straight into the kitchen near the back of the old shotgun house to grab a cup of coffee. My mother-in-law then asked me why it took me so long to decide to come get coffee since she had seen me walking around between the 2 front rooms for several minutes.
I told her I had just walked into the house and headed straight to the kitchen. Then she said I had on different clothes when she saw me, more dressy style and not work clothes. I assured her these were the clothes I had on for hours.
One of the rooms she saw the man walking around in was the same room my dad died in and it was now the room we used for my son's bedroom.
I never experienced anything odd and neither did my wife, but the MIL's story sure got me to thinking because the lady was far from being a crackpot and had no clue my dad had died in the house, in that room, long ago.
I eventually sold that house and moved to another part of the city. The people that bought the house lived there for only a couple years and abandoned it according to the neighbors I kept in touch with.

Some time ago in an older house, we always had this feeling things might get shifted around. Set something down, then a few hours later it would be gone. The house occasionally gave off a vibe I've never felt anywhere else I've lived.
One time we lost something small in a similar way, that was left on the kitchen counter. SO and I both looked around exhaustively, and she and I were just completely frustrated. Finally I just said out loud, half joking, house ghost please return it, we really need it back. We left to run an errand, returned home, and it was sitting on the kitchen island in plain view. Who knows, but that was one weird experience.
One particular cat would also hiss and meow like it was seeing something. A visitor alone in the house once said they kept hearing a little girl's voice calling their name from outside. Many nights there was simply a dark feeling about the house at times. I began to wonder if I had foolishly developed a fear of the dark. Once we moved, I never felt it again. The weird dreams went away and the night time no longer felt odd.

There are books on smudging with instructions on how to do it. It’s not rocket science. Just a ritualistic way to communicate with the other world and ask the spirits to stock bothering you. I have the book Sage & Smudging. It worked for me. You have to believe it’ll work though.

I highly recommend smudging doing this to any home
I personally believe that there is something we do not understand. I've posted my experiences here before to a bunch of down votes. You cannot explain it until it happens to you. When you have an experience that cannot be explained away it is life altering

Owned an old historic home once and the previous two owners died in their sleep in the bedroom of old age
My wife woke up one time when I was out of town with the dog barking crazy next to the bed looking up at the bed
She swears there was a tall thin old man standing there right where the dog was looking
Read up on the light waves dogs respond to and what ghost hunters look for
I also would often just see (stuff) of some kind of movement in the corner of my eye in the house in the evening
Idk but I guess i am sort of in the believer camp
Do not live in that house anymore and no one has died in the one I have (yet)

Our cats used to get chased around by a ghost cat. You would see our cats run by and catch a glimpse of a white cat chasing them

Haven’t personally seen one but i also have never been shown why they can’t happen

Yeah, that was me. I was looking for my cat. Sorry I didn't say hello.

I dated a woman who had spirits at her house. Doors would slam shut by themselves. Lights would turn on when no one in room. One night I was laying with her in the bed and my foot was off the bed. She had a small dog that was in bed with us. I suddenly feel this pinching feeling on my small toe. It felt like someone with long nails pinching. Ex told me she said the spirits are not happy and I had to go. I put my shoes on and still feel the pinching feeling. It was not until I was a block away when the pinching had ended. It was crazy. My ex would watch all those paranormal activity movies and shows on tv. Have it on all night.

Angels, demons and spirits, yes. Ghosts, no.
