OK dude, so the hundred of thousands of people that have seen them are ALL lying. Only one of the experiences has to be real for ghosts to exist.

I do. I’ve witnessed paranormal stuff both as a child and as an adult.

New houses can be haunted. My brother lived a place down the road from me that was maybe 20 years old. I know that’s not new to ot standards. This was in the burbs. It was haunted as frick

You said new houses can be haunted then go on to say your brother lived in a house that was 20 years old and his house was haunted. Maybe I’m reading into your post wrong but a 20 year old house is an older model home to me. A car with 100,000 miles may look in perfect condition if the owner took good care of the car but still the same it’s not a new car.

I had a brand spanking new house built because my kids were terrified of the older model home we lived in which I believe was about 25 years old. Can new homes be haunted? I suppose so I guess but I’ll take my chances on a home that I’m the first owner versus one that was bought and sold three times. Bottom line that house just had a negative energy to it and it was time to go.

Sometimes I think people better be cognizant of what doors they open so to say. I don’t go get my palm or fortune read. I don’t go up in voodoo shops on Bourbon Street or play supposedly spiritual board games. I don’t intentionally go opening doors to things that could potentially attach itself to me. Personally I think that there are things in this world that the majority of us, including myself, just don’t understand.

When I lived back in Alabama in a 130 year old house, the type of layout where it had 4 large rooms on the lower floor, I ended up waking up to my dog running down the hall and looked towards the hallway where he was wagging his tail and suddenly one of his tennis balls goes over his head to which he retrieved it and ran back down the hall towards the kitchen. I immediately jumped out of bed, grabbed my shotgun, ran into the hall with it racked, and my dog ran by me to get the ball again and right before I got to the back door, I walked through a freezing cold wave and knew I just encountered a spirit as originally I was looking for a person who I thought broke in. Then I knew as my hairs stood on end what it was. Sure enough I felt its presence a couple of more times but thank God I never saw whatever he/she was. But my dog was always entertained so whatever it was liked playing with my dog..even found his toys upstairs (there was a ceiling door for the attic) that it apparently put up there every other day. After which I locked up the attic door as I didn't want my dog to go up the steep stairs and didn't know why it was trying to get him to go up there.

What I’m getting at though that a house built in 75 doesn’t have much history.

FWIW, this was exactly what a long time catholic priest exorcist said in an interview I read. Picked up a book around Halloween, and an Anglican exorcist had similar thoughts. The both felt like ouiji boards, dream catchers, and the like seem harmless, but could open a portal into something the earth world doesn't comprehend. Malevolent spirits appear harmless until they become attached. Interesting reading regardless if you fully believe or not.

Always thought paranormal stories were bullshite. Even seeing a couple minor things years ago, I told myself it was nothing.

Then an apparition woke me up one night at a hotel. Scared the frick out of me

Ghosts are the souls of the dead in another dimension trying to enter back into this dimension.

He would know what to do. Maybe I’ll hit up Noory and see if I can use one of his portals to reach him

Yeah, I’ve always been in the it’s interesting to discuss, but seems more like entertainment to me camp. Until now. I’m genuinely wondering if something is going on.

Our store for work in Slidell is haunted. Girls won't go to the bathroom by themselves because a little girl talks to them. We've had things thrown across the room. I have one video of a plate coming out of nowhere from under the dish table.

If you mean 1975 a lot can happen in 44 years. Or even 20 years. 10 years, etc. People can die in the house, who knows. All I know is I’m not the most religious guy out there. I try hard to treat others as I would want to be treated, don’t lie, cheat or steal from others. But when my kids come to me saying daddy there is something not right with this house all I knew to do was call for some help from our priest. All he did was sprinkle some holy water in each room, say a few words blessing the home and my kids felt better. But it still creeped me out and I had a brand new home built so that I knew no one died or any other oddities went on there prior to me moving in.
