Who here believes in ghosts?

I’m not saying I believe ghosts exist, but my wife(no pics)and I have been having some strange things happening at our home. Strange dreams, seeing things out of the corner of our eye that almost appear as shadows, unexplainable knocking, and completely random bursts of cold air. That experience of feeling like someone is watching you. Last night, the kids stayed with their grandparents and my wife and I were discussing the weird things going on. She suggested we have the house smudged, which is basically the burning of incense during a traditional Cherokee ceremony to remove negative energies. What was otherwise just a conversation we would probably have forgotten in the morning, it turned into maybe the strangest thing that has happened yet. As we were discussing the smudging and removing any possible “ghosts” in the house, our TV turned on by itself. Weird, but I turned it off and we kept talking. Later the LED Lights I use on an aquarium changed from blue to white rapidly. All while we were talking about the possibility of a “ghost” and how to remove it. I’m not one to believe in such things, but I have to admit it is very strange.
The old Cherokee in this area talk about ghosts, little people and all kinds of things paranormal that have been passed down through oral history for centuries. Maybe they’re right.
So what say you, OT? Ghosts or just coincidence?

Sure, why not. I think I saw a transparent blue lady when I was like 4.

I’ve been doing some reading about this and there’s a pretty popular theory that children are more susceptible to the paranormal because they’ve not been conditioned to believe they don’t exist. So your story is interesting when you consider that.
I mean that and the transparent blue lady

Nope.
I once stated in a charter fishing house out of Venice. I was put in a room known to have a female ghost that loved sex. The people that ran the place didn’t tell me but questioned me the next morning. I told them I don’t believe in ghost. Nothing happened. They told me when the ghost is in the room it should have been cold. lol

We bought an older house many years ago and my kids thought there was some paranormal activity going on in there. They honestly were scared of the house. Ended up calling my priest and told him to come on over and bless each room and get rid of any ghost or spirits. It worked I suppose because my kids said whatever was there was gone. To be honest it did creep me out and I sold the house and had a new one built. Figured if it was new no ghost or spirits would be in there.

Yeah, thinking about my kids is what bothers me. I forgot to add that one night my wife was getting one of our kids ready for a bath and they both said they heard what sounded like me calling them from our bedroom. I was outside.

I never noticed anything odd but my kids insisted there was something in there. My daughter was in 7th grade and my son was in 5th grade. They were old enough that I felt like they weren’t making things up. Without doubt they were genuinely scared of the house. I honestly didn’t know what to do. Figured getting the house blessed was all I could come up with.

That’s about all you can do and will be what I do. We’re heading on vacation tomorrow and a friend is staying at the house. I’m curious to hear their experiences while we are gone.

I've seen one not knowing it was a ghost when I saw it. It was a little boy who had drowned in the pool of the house friends of mine were renting.

I need to hear the details of this story. Care to share the story?

I absolutely do,
but not ghosts themselves as they seem to be thought of by many if not most,
but the demonic.
Just as sure as the rising sun will fade the black into light, the demonic infest the world.
Maybe that's the reason that, for most of my life, I oftentimes see the darkest hours of the night, and yet the brightest of the morning hours.
Problem is, the dark nights never let up, but the bright mornings we- I- gotta chase.
So, me answering your specific question,
Yup.

I’ve never gotten any feelings of fear that I would associate with something demonic, so that’s a good thing I guess.
