I have for the last 15 years. It’s the first website I check in the morning. If something big happened, it’ll be here. You have to learn to filter the bullshite but I’d you check it enough, your bullshite filter improves with time.
I still trust EL Groucho over the MSM anyway.

when something goes down, there is usually at least 1 person on TD who lives in the area or knows someone involved. Or someone who witnessed the event.

Twitter, TD, Reddit are the sites I use for news aggregators.
Twitter is the best as I follow news sources from both sides of the political spectrum. Reddit and TD are both echo chamber for the most part with the same thoughts being shared

TD’s breaks as fast as Twitter and has local info literally hours before the local journalists have a chance to spin a news article. So yeah, this is like an entertainment version of a police scanner.

TD is definitely my leading source for news, and had been long before I actually created an account. People have often laughed when they ask how I knew something, but several have started following suit.

I’ve been on TD for a long time. As time as moved on, I find it to be an excellent source for current events and political views. There are lots of very smart people posting here every day.
The media has turned into complete garbage and I no longer trust any of it. I still browse some sites but, I don’t use any MSM for my information.
I can honestly say I respect and value the opinions of regular posters on TD far more than any other source I use.

There is another sight that I know that swings left. They try hard to be the first to report, but only the things that put the conservatives in a bad light.
But for reason if the story hurts the left's narrative it never gets mentioned for some strange reason.
