Who else uses Tigerdroppings as a primary source of information?

I used to browse TD mostly for the sports commentary, recipes, humor on the OT/Tiger rant/ SEC rant, etc. and I would watch the local news to stay current on what’s going on
Lately it’s the other way around. 99% of the media is just satire and trolling, while Tigerdroppings has become a leading outlet for relevant news. I don’t believe everything I read on here, but I have infinitely more trust in a random TD poster to do accurate research and tell me truth than anything I see on TV these days.

I definitely come here and get information and news. TD is nice cause its 1 website for my sports, politics, news and some laughs on the OT or Fark board. I will also browse the other channels on a need basis, so pretty much solidifies TD as a top site of mine. Oh, and it doesnt give me aids to read like the thread situation of reddit. frick all that

I do. I pretty much stopped following any other news sources. I like the angles that TD presents the news

Agreed, used to be Twitter then TD, now it is the other way around. If someone tells me some breaking news type shite, I usually come here to check. Then I will respond to that person with a, yes it is on TD, or nothing yet on TD

Surprisingly, this is a good place for information. Granted, you to sift through some bullshite, but whenever shite hits the fan, there always seems to be someone on here with good information.

Admittedly, I check the OT several times a day, and I have for years. When the Dallas police shootings were happening, the OT had someone there who was reporting in real time. Y'all were getting info out before Shepherd Smith. That's when I was hooked.
There's no way a legit news source can have this many "reporters" on the ground at once. It's unique and awesome.

It’s entertaining ( tyga woods insta threads and the replies and gif usage ) and informative all around. I feel way more in tune with current events due to the site and it’s different boards

This is the only place I get news from. I’ll tell my fiancé some crazy shite that happened, and she’ll be like, “Where’d you get that, TD?” in a condescending tone.
Then later she finally sees it somewhere else and realizes this place might be legit after all
