NYE is amateur night. Only place I would go is one of those hotels with a party. Just not worth it.

Empty nest - kids gone, ex-wife gone. Dog and I are watching football. After that I will walk her so she can take her nightly shite in the yard. Thereafter, get a sandwich and watch a movie. It's too rainy to get out, and I am putting up with an ear infection.

I plan to be asleep bdfore the end of 2016.

Spent the past 15 NYEs at home as a single dad with the kid 'cause my ex wanted to be the one to party. So it's become tradition to me even though my kid is now grown and out at a NYE party.
I'm multi-tasking, watching a video about behavioral disorder right now and after that will record and edit some music audio from youtube to make a CD for the car.

I'm just sitting at home with my wife and son. Wouldn't have it any other way.

Been celebrating the new year in this manner for years now. NYE just never appealed to me.

between the DWI checkpoints (that my cop neighbor told me will be everywhere tonight in our small town), the rain, fog, & other drunks.... I'm perfectly content not dealing with this that shite tonight.

Working tonight. Somebody's got to keep the lights on.

Some of us are working tonight and happy to be here. No drunks, no fireworks.

I had plans with wife, and friends, for a New Year's Eve event downtown at the Shaw Center tonight. They emailed out yesterday it was cancelled due to incliment weather. Kind of sucks. Not much else would have worked with weather tonight.

I typically take nye to reflect on the good and bad of the previous year and nod to goal set for the upcoming year
