This is also why white families in Spring who’ve owned their homes for 20+ are packing up and moving even further North.

School district (KLEIN) used to be great, is going down hill quickly.
And the city continues to allow cheap strip malls and apartments to be built in any available lots

There is Harris County, Spring & Montgomery County, Spring.
Montgomery County , Spring is great..I'm 100% comfortable with my wife and 6 year old daughter shopping and driving around..great community & upper class. Not a family on my street that makes less than 150K / year.
Harris County, Spring .. negative, don't go & no reason.
Stay north of Rayford if you want to live and enjoy life.

Louetta near 45 has some 1960 traits. Vintage Park around 249 is a nice area with some pretty good restaurants.

When we moved here our spreadsheet factored in crime data, election voting data, % of graduates receiving full out of state scholarships, % of graduates accepted into Ivy League schools, household income , % of population below poverty line, population demographics, and proximity to toll roads.
Montgomery County & Conroe ISD was number #1 with The Woodlands & The John Cooper School #2.
All families are different, sorry to seem rude about Harris County. Based on our spreadsheet, I am 100% not surprised about the link though.
We are very happy with our buy & hold lot in Benders Landing , we just want to wait to see how the new high school produces academically before we commit and leave our current home.

Every time I see this s$%t it brings me back to the last day of school 9 th grade ,walking home off the back of campus. About 20 or so jumped me and 5 friends walking home. Woke up covered in blood ,head to toe,broken nose,black eyes.
About 15 students used to walk home every day off the back of the practice field , you'd go in the ditch to get under the fence ; was the shortcut for us. Black,chinese,white,Mexican students. But the last day was black guys jumping white guys.
