The media has labeled it Arc de Trump

For the governmental FY2025 (October 2024 to September 2025), Total debt increased by $2.17 trillion to $37.64 trillion. That was released by the JEC on October 1st.

Senate JEC report

If he’s using private funds for it, then have at it. But does anyone actually believe it will not involve ANY taxpayer money?

If it's privately funded then I support the big one 100% just to piss off France.

I dunno... am willing to wait and see, though.

I'd rather lasting works of beautiful architecture than the stupid BLM boulevards and sassy black girl statues.

The president showed off a model of the arch at a White House dinner Wednesday night for a group of wealthy donors who are funding his White House ballroom project.

But muh national debt, how dare these independent individuals spend their money on this

judging from Trump's way of doing things, it probably won't be by increasing the debt.

Now THIS is satire.

Looks like a ripoff of the Arc de Triomphe with Berlin Victory Column ornamentation. Seems unnecessary especially if federal money is going into it

I mean I see that…doesn’t really matter what it is, it’s the imagery. If people don’t see it, they should try looking at architecture of shite Hitler had built.

How do we know it's going to be privately funded? Just asking, because the article linked doesn't discuss funding.

The Arc de Triomphe is a rip off and they would be using private money.
