Acadias are crap. I have known probably five people with them in the last few years and all have had lots of trouble.

Wife drives highlander. Loves it.
The 3rd row comes in handy. Can't beat the Toyota engine.

The only thing I really hated about ours were the Kumho tires that come stock. We put new tires on it at Xmas,
I agree going to be putting tires on it in a few weeks

The Toyota will last the longest, and should give the least problems.

GM rear ends are horrible, but Dodge is the worst ... Stick with imports

Yeah Toyota kills it in that regard. Before I got the Hyundai I had a 4runner with 250K miles and it ran amazing

Just paid off my 11' Highlander. 125,000 miles and outside of gas, tires, filters and synthetic oil I've not put a single dollar into it.
Runs as good today as it did the day I bought it.

Highlander. Don't overthink it. The new body style Honda Pilot is also good, but has a CVT transmission like the Pathfinder.

I just bought a 2016 highlander for my gf. It's an excellent ride. My Tahoe stayed parked all weekend.

I can't begin to fathom why anyone would buy an Acadia over a Highlander if they are about the same price. The Highlander will be more reliable, last longer, and hold it's value better than the Arcadia. Give me a Toyota over a GM product any day.

Highlander. We bought an 04 model new. Still driving today, like a new car.

If you like the look of the pilot, it is probably the best vehicle in that class. Highlanders are definitely right up there. We went with the MDX which was a little more than those two.

Highlander is the best choice.

Pass on the Acadia. My in laws have one and it spends more time in the shop than on the road.
This. Been selling vehicles for over 10 years and would talk any family member out of any mid-sized GM suv. Larger GM suvs are ok.

Looked to replace wife's 2006 Highlander with new model. Did not like the Highlander exterior so much. Investigated and test drove 2016 Honda Pilot and are very pleased with our decision to purchase it! New body style is killer!
