Why he was running that fast in the Tickfaw is a whole other story.

Stupidity would be first on my list.

I can't help but think that's incorrect. 130 mph on the Tickfaw? That dude was begging to kill someone at that speed.

Tickfaw gets nuts and with the 200 in a couple of weeks it will only get crazier.

One of the dumber things I did back in college was try and wakeboard riding doubles after leaving Prop Stop with those things going by. One fall and I was spooked enough to get my butt back in the boat.

One of the many dumb things I used to enjoy was a drunk day boating on the Tickfaw and Diversion. We usually had shitty boats but we were out there often. A million dollar boat on the Tickfaw going 130 is a damn death wish.

Agree, I can't think of a place on the Tickfaw to safely run at that speed. Maybe it occurred on the north side of the lake near the Tickfaw? I'd like to see the exact location on a chart.

Did anybody post the boat owner’s TD handle yet?

I'd bet much money that the owner is bald, has tribal tats, and has been involved in at least five lawsuits.

You forgot the bankruptcies.

He was racing a buddy and caught the turn doing 95 and his boat hit the other boats wake, and ripped him sideways sending him into the woods. Lost an ear. Already ordered his next boat as well.

Prop Stop or Sun Bun's

No doubt the rocket surgeon of the OT pictures was making the pilgrimage from the diversion canal to the Mecca known as "Prop Stop" to receive his due praise and worship.

That idiot shouldn’t be allowed to have a boat.

How will this person wear sunglasses? Will he have to tie them on? Will they sit crooked on his face? Did some garfish eat his ear?

Allison with a giant 300 on the back. That thing must move.

I've ridden in an Allison like that, it did just north of 100.

It wasn't very pleasant riding in the passenger seat...

I fished tournaments with a friend in the late 80's out of a 19 foot Allison with a 150 merc that had been tinkered with and was producing about 225....a heap o'horspower in the late 80s on a 19 foot boat. Most, if not all, bass tournaments had a 150 HP limit at the time so or course rednecks, doing what we do, would turn a factory 150 into much more than that. That boat would do 95 easily in a light chop with 2 better than average sized men and a load of fishing gear in it. It was flat out scary. We hit a barge wake on the Cumberland river once and got about 4 feet of air over at least 25 feet...stupid fast. A damned june bug hitting you in the forehead at 90 MPH is not something I would recommend...
