I have one.

I got it at a garage sale so I'm not a trashy thief.

But knowing it was stolen at one time makes you trashy.

The way she was holding her jacket, it looked like she already had her water meter for the night, too.
Yeah I was going to post this. She definitely has one too. At one point in the video, you can see her turn while holding it and clearly see the woman hole cover under the jacket too. Notice the guy starts to carry his jacket the same way. Also if you watch the video again, assuming that the woman already stole a man hole cover and this is the 2nd one, it makes much more sense in how she is acting.

It was smart of them to stare directly into the camera for a few seconds.

They get stolen all the time.

I don't understand the fascination. The one in front of my house was stolen about 2 years ago. I was happy to get the plain cover.

If I stepped in that and broke my leg I would hunt them down like fricking animals

That's the first thing I thought. I've been pretty fricked up a time or 2 in New Orleans and I really don't think I'd notice that cover missing. That would suuuuck!

I had a friend step in an open one once... not good. It's a real hazard.

You can buy knock offs that look the same. Why go to the trouble of stealing one off the street? Probably coated in years of piss and vomit from days gone by.

Mitch will use the full power of NOPD to hunt down and catch these criminals.

Murder is cool though.
