I got that video this morning with this Fratastik explanation: Somebody in KA threw a bottle at the Theta Xi house dog and severely injured it. A fight later ensued.

These days? You think there weren’t fights at LSU bars in the 70s, 80s,90s??? I got news for you, there were lots of fights and not just at LSU.

We had two of these in my day, both at a fraternity house; against Sigma Chi (they had the numbers frick you Gordon McKernan) and one against Kappa Sig (we had the numbers frick you Peyton Murphey).
It's the certainty of knowing you can get your arse kicked by other men if you frick around that conditions men to be chill enough to not have to find out. I fricked around.I found out. Its natures way.

Ah the good old days when all you needed to attend an LSU home game was your student ID. Pledges would wait in line outside the stadium gate and then sit in the stands protecting their sections for hours before kickoff. There were some great fights in the stadium involving pledges who had been drinking for hours before kickoff. Then go to the postgame party at the house and show back up at midnight to get hazed and clean up the house.
But it all worked.

I saw a fight roughly twice as big as this outside of Reggies about 10 years ago

That was a pretty decent fight. Usually it’s a bunch of cheat bumping , hugging and flopping around. I actually saw a few attempts at real punches, as well as a takedown.
