Houma is good, but the competition to throw as many beads as hard as possible is a joke. My buddy had the back window of his pickup shattered two years ago. Do not bring kids without armor.
Also, Houma has more ugly people per capita than any city in the state.

The Krewe of Hercules in Houma is one of the biggest shite shows I have ever seen. Those baws go hard.

Party buses were heading to pick up riders at 6 am when i was on my way to work. They party for over 12 hours before they get on the float. Really is an amazing display of drunkenness. I did notice that their floats didn't have near the number of throws this year i think the oil field severely affected that krewe. Probably plenty of bawes riding that got laid off after they paid their dues to ride.

About 8-10 years ago, there was a video floating around from one of their float parties the night before the parade.
If it got into the wrong hands, every guy in the video would get divorced and many thrown in jail.
I knew some of the guys on that video and was still shocked by the debauchery. Surprised one of them was dumb enough to video it.

Shreveport Mardi Gras is trashy as frick. Be sure to bring your atv and ride it around on the road while waving your confederate flag.

I friend of mine rode last year. His float had some big money baws on it. Young and old. They brought in strippers from Vegas. A lot of white powder was being thrown around. I'm trying to get on this float next year.

I rode for 8 years in Hercules, I've seen some shite. I was in it back in the heyday of the Fiesta Lounge and Jarrells Car Club when that was kicking. The shite a woman. In need will do for 2 long beads and a couple dollars would make a porn star blush.

There was only 13 arrests and only one float got shot at during last weekends Kreme of centaur parade in Shreveport.
