Which Louisiana city outside of NOLA has the best Mardi Gras parades?

I haven't been to the Spanish Town parade in years but assume it's still good. My cousin tells me the ones in Shreveport attract close to a million visitors and are known for their dazzling floats and party atmosphere..

Houma and Metry now I think about it.

They have decent size parades and actual floats. The krewes are legit. Houma people know how to throw down as well.
