My land was built on sand dredged from Lake Pontchartrain in the 1920s. I’m okay.

Well that's some dark shite.

You have 7 down votes for posting an informative map. I wonder what offended the masses this time.

I'm indigenous to this land. Too bad the people before lost a battle of some type.

Evidently, Donaldsonville and Belle Rose sat on no indigenous lands, so there's that.

Prob on Choctaw land which was someone else before that.
There is a Choctaw legend that they migrated from Mexico. They lived north of the Aztecs and were allies of the Aztecs. When they saw what happened when Cortez came to town, they decide to move as far away as possible and migrated to what's now Mississippi and Alabama. They displaced people who were already there, maybe the Natchez. The Choctaw told Tecumsah to pound sand and fought with Jackson against the Redstick Creeks during their civil war.

Looks like the Osage, Chatot, and Mvskoke all owe me back rent for being on my property before I got there.

Crazy how no one is indigenous to Europe, the Middle East, India and east Asia.
Long ago I read in an old Encyclopedia Britanica that in the year 1 there were no Rus in Russia, no Franks in France, no Angles in England, etc.
The human species is a migrating group.

Did they own the land? Where is their paperwork showing ownership ?

We got Natchez up on our place. I’ve found at least 20 arrow heads. Countless pottery shards. Have a little hill we call an Indian mound that sits surrounded on 3 sides by much taller hills like an amphitheater I’d love to dig up.

Here’s the thing, all lands are indigenous lands. The only one left is Antarctica, but there have been mass genocides on every single plot of land outside of that.

Don’t care. They were too weak to keep it.

Not all of them. EBCI for example fought the feds and won for the most part.

Local legend, where I live, states the Fuhgawi's once claimed this land as their own. Apparently after being lost in the SE AL pineywoods for several months, they popped out into a clearing and said, where da fuhgawi?

Alabama, Choctaw, Porch Indians to name a few.

This is proof that the strong survive and the weak disappear.
It's science.
