Much rather the squirts. I don't know if there's a worse feeling than that which precedes puking.

Prefer diarrhea. It doesn’t leave a terrible taste in your mouth and make your throat raw from the acid

I find it helps to lighten the mood if you play this at peak stomach flu:
I’m Too Sexy

Good luck with the dehydration hangover day.

Edit: once you learn to embrace puking, it’s not that bad (shy the risk of throwing out your back, plus burst capillaries in your face). At least once a year I’ll get stupid and mix a strong IPA with a strong dark beer and end up having to make myself barf it out. Two fingers down the throat like the pretty girls.

The worst part about the diarrhea is that your arse feels like an angle grinder got ahold of it, due to the constant wipin

The circle of life at my house when you get shits because one of the Petri dishes brought show & tell home; but having an ample supply of baby wipes around the house because one still can’t wipe their own arse

Last time I had this happen I hit a point around 3 or 4 something A.M.
I pretty much have nausea every day around 4am. Couple days ago was the shits while fighting nausea till Reglan could work it's magic (anti-nausea med with motility intact as opposed to Zofran which slows motility. My diseases/meds require motility which works against stopping the shits though for those unfortunate times.)

The best is when you’re on the toilet and have to vomit. You start assessing whether you should bolt for the sink or the tub.

If you know you have a stomach bug, go ahead and prepare a trashcan with a trashbag lined with tp or paper towels & leave it by the toilet. Even if you haven’t vomited and only have diarrhea. Because the vomiting is coming. Blee dat.

If I’m close to a toilet give me diarrhea every time. Throwing up is awful

Last time I had one of those 24 hour bugs it was coming out both ends at the same time though

Puked an average 8 times a day during both of my pregnancies. Was hospitalized for weight loss with the second. I should never have to vomit again...ever. Would welcome diarrhea.

Diarrhea. Last summer, I had diarrhea for 15 days after I contracted a bacteria from Walmart produce.

Went to ER later than I should have but an antibiotic cleared the problem up in about 48-72 hours.

Rather have the shits. 100%. Nausea is the most miserable feeling. I also vomit so hard that I burst blood vessels around my eyes.

I’ll take pissing out my butt everyday of the week and twice on Sunday before vomiting. Vomiting is a borderline phobia for me. I’ll do anything to try and avoid it even when I know I’d feel so much better after. I’m a sympathetic puker and will come close to throwing up just from hearing someone else doing it much less if I see or smell it. Gets interesting with kids when they get sick and I’ve gotten better. My wife (no pics) isn’t phased by vomit so she can deal with the clean up much better than me if the kids are sick. I’m perfectly fine with blood and bone breaks, poop, and pee though. My wife can’t do needles at all though, it’s pretty funny. She had a vagal episode when they were starting her IVs at the hospital for our kids being born. Needles don’t bother me in the slightest.
