Good one. Wow, haven't heard that name in awhile. I was there often but couldn't tell you where it was right now if my life depended on it.

I made some really bad decisions at Rocket' Roadhouse.
One of which was partaking in those toughman contests.
As a side note
Are you going to compare the results of this thread with the results of this exact thread you started ˜ 3 years ago ?

The old Sports Page on Sherwood and Old Hammond hwy. Or the French Connection Just down from the Sports Page on Old Hammond hwy
The Keno Club had only one good fight I remember but everyone in the place was involved.

Robert E Lee's and stars in Hammond.
I don't think I've ever seen a fight in the sports page

If we are not being technical and counting Port Allen then San Souci is the correct answer

For the win!
Worked at Southdowns in a previous life. We never had much trouble. It was usually more the lone drunk guy that refused to leave. Those were plenty entertaining, though.

Sports Page is now what these days? I don’t recall a bar near Sherwood and Harrell’s Ferry.

Interesting. I have never seen a fight there...been going on and off for years.
It's not really known for fighting, especially considering the other downtown bars. I did see a great one about a year ago though, it involved a father and son fighting a group of guys and getting thrown out of the bar. They then decide to try to fight the cops that were coming to arrest them and got the shite beat out of them. It was great

Good call to exclude Tigerland from consideration. I know guys who used to leave the bar around 1:30AM if they struck out for the night and go grab some food before coming back to watch the parking lot fights around 2:15AM.
We would go to Reggie's in high school and just chill in the parking lot afterwards to see fights.
Great times.

strong list. I would go:
1) Southdowns
2) Nitelife
3) Triple A
4) Caterie (Big Ol' Nick wouldn't allow this)

Not on the original list of four from OP, but this would be BY FAR number one!

The Caterie is the only one of those I used to go to and it could get rough at times. When the Baton Rouge bars used to close at 2:00 a.m. ( that was unacceptable to a New Orleanian) we would sometimes go to the ones across the river in Port Allen. I remember San Souci's. We used to see fights all the time over there.
