No problems with Nguyen, but no chance she could actually motivate people from just left of center to vote for her in a runoft.

Heno at least doesn't have the baggage that would drag her down in a runoff.

Agreed and agreed

Manny Chevrolet Bruno has the best platform of all the candidates running because he is a “Troubled Man for Troubled Times!” I would vote for him again like I did the last three times.

My wife and I both voted for the guy running for Assessor who nicknamed himself “low taxes”. That guy is a genius because we didn’t talk about that beforehand.

I moved from Orleans to Jefferson last year because of crime, politics, infrastructure, and taxes. Glad I did it.

Should be in Angola but there is no actual justice in the world anymore. There’s only mobs screaming a meaningless word in attempts to gain power these days

Did you see the assessors debate moderated by Travers Mackie when he broke down and started seeing “down in the treme…”

Wrong. DeBlasio. AKA Warren Welheim.

I can’t imagine the type of personthat thought he was the best choice. He’s the definition of cringe . Hopefully they have some self correction with Adam’s.

It doesn't matter. No challenger will get more than 50%.

Have to have a runoft then vote for whoever is against Latoya.

The challengers in TOTAL have to get 50% to go to a runoff. Then it’s the top challenger vs Latoya

Which is why it doesn't matter to vote for the most viable, just vote for anyone else.

Will probably be Vina Nguyen and no way Nola is voting for a Republican in a run-off. Either way, Latoya is going to win and Nola is fricked.

The good news is it looks like several council incumbents are going to go to a run off. Bad news is the people causing that are even further left. WWL is talking about the liberal out of state money coming in against Gusman.
