in the top 20 percentile. i dont think it would break the top ten for me. While very pleasurable and fun, it is such a short term gratification. So much out t here can bring longer term gratification and sense of pride, accomplishment, etc.

It is doubtful whether this would even make the top thousand. However, if we were to rank based on its necessity for the continuation of the species, it would undoubtedly occupy the top position.

I am learning a lot about why the OT is so angry all the time.
They are not being denied, they rank sex below food and pooping.

Start connecting the dots.
Low testosterone
Being denied sex
Rampant cheating threads
The list goes on. These guy's wives are cheating and not interested in sex because that need is getting fulfilled by Jody or Tyrone.
Lots of miserable guys here.

You're fricking 40 man. If you're already promoting and taking ED pills, then I can't wait to see how suicidal you are at 50 and beyond.

well, I would rate it a lot higher if I had any LOL. funny how getting married changed that shite on the quick.

I'm not taking them, but the guys on here talking about ED as if it's a life sentence need to see that they have options. It's ridiculous these days that they think ED is some sort of terminal sex disease.

When it comes to the best things in life a man or woman can enjoy and appreciate, where would you rank sex?
In my 20's and very early 30's it would rank top 3. Now, in my late 40's, it's in the bottom 3rd of things that interest me.

Ain’t his fault! Woman got the hooks in and the govt will take your money and house if you want to look elsewhere for someone still driven and cares about looking presentable… I’d check tf out too… the woman needs to stay presentable and fit (or at least driven I do t care a whole lot about some extra weight, but you better keep up when we go diving, skiing, white water rafting or hiking some decent distance)

Stress?
Tired/overworked?
Relationship issues?
Physical problems?
More enjoyment out of hobbies?
Partner disinterest?
Porn is easier/less hassle?
I am truly curious.

Its definitely up there.
Sexual compatibility is very important, and you can fall victim to being in a relationship with someone you aren't sexually compatible with and it becomes normal, and you kind of forget that it can be so much better, because even mediocre sex is better than most things. I had forgotten what consistently great sex was like until I started dating my current gf, and it was like the world got a little brighter upon this realization.

I was thinking the same thing madamsquirrel! Husband & I are both early 40s. Sex life is honestly best it’s ever been. I did take it upon myself to get on hormone therapy after early perimenopause. We don’t typically go more than three days or so. If I thought he’d rather take a good poop than have sex, Id be real worried, lol…

Great sex in a marriage or relationship is only as great as the overall quality of the marriage/relationship.
When it’s all good- it’s all good.
But when it’s not- it’s not.
And there are many reasons why marriages and relationships fall into the not great category and almost without exception- the lack of healthy, effective communication is at the root of it.

all joking aside, if my husband keeled over tomorrow, my 53 year old self would not be out chasing the D. I wouldn't even be thinking about D. I'd be sleeping unfondled on crisp, fart free sheets holding the remote.
That said, I understand its importance to him and try to do my best. ;-)
