Moving back to Louisiana after leaving 10 yrs earlier and saying would never return (Duke vs Edwards gov race culmination mid 1990s).
Subsequently, learned / realized two very very important things:
1. Louisiana good is very good (vs many parts of US - family, food, fun, festivals, football, etc).
2. Louisiana bad (racism, closed mindedness, oversized tempest in teapot view of world), etc comes with Louisiana good.
Dilemma, but only if you let it be.

I would be 33 y/o at my previous home in Haughton. Would have recently put my 9 y/o daughter and 6 y/o son down for bed. Probably laying in bed with my wife with her watching TV and me figuring out my rotation for my daughters BPAR Basketball game the day that I was the coach for.
