I was 26, been married for 5 years, had a 2 y/o daughter and a son on the way. Had recently moved into our second home. Was in the second year working for a company that I am still employed by today. Life was pretty good. Still is actually.

Living the life in Lake Charles and duck hunting every day of the season with a limit each day made up of mallard & teal, with the occasional wood duck and pintail, along a few limits of speckled belly geese. Also catching limits of speckled trout (50 back then)

Working a full-time job, banging a couple of side pieces, trying to slowly finish off college and learning that yes someone could be addicted to video games (EverQuest).

Senior year at LSU. Graduated and commissioned in the AF in December. For NYE, I was working for a catering company and we catered a huge party thrown by the people that own the house the movie "The Toy" was filmed in. They renovated the horse stables on the property into a huge party venue with a large ballroom in the center and multiple small rooms on the sides. Must have been about 1,000 people at that party.
