Living in Baton Rouge but on this date in 1999 I was probably either in Tulsa or Port Arthur doing Y2K work on computer programs.

Party with old friends near LSU campus. Crazy night. Have photos of it. Was dating a certified moonbat who couldn’t handle her liquor.
Eta: Actually wow I’m old. I’m conflating two different NYE parties at same friends house. Different girlfriend lol. The drunk was a couple years later. Carry on.

Turned 12. We spent New Year’s Eve at Univeral Studios. My mom was on top of shite that night. Did all kinds of stuff that day and about 11:00 we walked back to a parking garage and got on the top floor. You could see all of Universal Studios fireworks up close with Disney’s in the background.

For NYE I was sitting in the westbank data center past midnight and performed basic user testing before going out to have a good time.

I was 27, professional and single, living by myself in a 1-bdrm apartment. Had a solid group of friends whom I partied and traveled with all the time, good times. Went to a lot of bars and nightclubs, hooked up a lot, partied 3 nights in a row starting Thurs night. Did it for another 3 years straight. Then settled down a bit.
