George Bass likely has the "best" selection of high-end suits, but their markup has led me to shop elsewhere. I have seen shirts at George Bass selling in excess of $500 - 600 that retail elsewhere (specifically, online) for $225. With that said, they will make sure you leave looking good. All that said, NOLA is a black hole for menswear.

George Bass is WAY too expensive. Brooks Bros. is a suit that will last.
There is a suit place near Lucy's that I haven't tried but have heard good things.
