Dollar for dollar, I will take Samuelsohn over an 1818 Brooks Brothers. Samuelsohn is fully canvassed, 1818 is half canvassed (or fused in parts). Accordingly, Samuelsohn will undoubtedly last longer as it is not glued.

Its Rubensteins then everyone else. It's expensive, but check them out for a point of reference if nothing else.
Saks has a lot of variety. They have a store brand thats Samuelsohn I believe.
I have a perils store brand suit that is a POS. They have good service though.
Anyone have a Bonobos suit? I like their concept and have a few of their casual shirts which are a good quality. Their suits are in the $550-$750 range.

I've got a few suits. Just looking to add to the collection. I'd usually hit up Frank at McLavy's, but won't be in BR anytime soon.
$400 - $600 range.

I think that Suit Supply is one of the best values in this price range. You'd have to order online or go to a major city for a physical location (Houston is the closest).

Luca, Saks, or Brooksbrothers are the only correct answers.

This is where I get my suits. Great quality, and you can bargain with them. The owner works at the one on Royal and he gives great deals. Just negotiate. It always works to bundle things together. Nice guy.

Couldn't agree more. Samuelson blows brooks brothers out of the water. I'll never buy another brooks brothers. I have 6 Samuelson's and dollar for dollar they are the best suits you can buy. Best sale going is the end of year Nordstrom's sale where you can buy a $1700 Samuelson for $1k. Or you can buy a $2200 Hickey Freeman for $1200. Best sale for suits you can find.
